INDEPENDENT EVENTS
Not sure if the Corporate Games are right for your company? Try them out—one event at a time. The Corporate Games are made up of over 30 different events and tournaments.
- Companies may choose to enter “Independent Events” only rather than a full Corporate Games Team.
- This is a great option for very small companies or for companies who are curious about the games.
Or… Add events to your Corporate Games Team
- If your company has already selected its allotted number of events, but you still have players who wish to compete—you can add “Independent Events”.
- Independent Event points do not count toward the Corporate Cup points and must be designated as “Independent Events” in advance of the Games.
Independent Event Fees:
Independent Event costs $80 per event/tournament. Soccer, basketball, softball and volleyball—$120. Golf, Go-Cart Racing, Trap Shoot and Paintball fees are additional.
Time to start organizing your team - Here are a few tips to get you started:
- Let employees know your company is joining the Corporate Games. Send out a list of events to your employees.
- Give employees a deadline for response.
- Send out a reminder 2 days before you really need the information back.
- Compile a list of employees event interest.
- Ask the first person who signs up for an event to be the captain, have them help recruit the rest of the team.
- If an event needs more players – send out an email letting people know, such as “We need one more women for the 5K run”.
- Recruit for the Bonus Events – Showcase Showdown, Wellness Walk, Smarter Than a 5th Grader, City Chase, Mystery Event, Blood Drive, Volunteers, Executive Challenge.
- Even if you are going to register online, use the hard copy of the registration form to help keep you organized.
